These are the lyrics to a song that I will publish soon. I hope you all enjoy!
The sing itself is fast-paced, and super exciting! Can't wait to show it to you guys when I'm done. :)
Do you remember the day,
When the sunlight shone before us?
When every darkest moment ran away
I prayed it would return
Through every shadow,
Dreams grow
As the light begins to show
Our hope lies inside
Our prayers, and our dreams.
Dark clouds flew fast before my eyes,
Blinding and taking hold of me,
I fought the relentless winter night
And prayed light would return.
My life flashed by in streaks of light,
Heavy darkness fell to silence,
The sunlight though so small, it gave me hope
As I prayed it would return,
Winter fell away,
The night slowly melted into day,
When did the sunlight go?
When will we ever
See forever,
Summer's youthful glow?
The winter melted into spring
And the spring faded into summer
Now light stands before us once again,
As we believed it would, we prayed it could,
And hoped that it would come back to us.

Can't wait to hear the song from such a creative lyrics. I feel the same way,can't wait for a spring since winter just starts and it's so freaking cold already. There is always the light in the end of tunnel.

Thanks Xay! Hey! That's awesome. I actually formulated the track about a year ago. And of course with my luck I don't have the original file either, lol. I am however too lazy to add any embellishments to it. :) Check it out and tell me what you think, and maybe what I can change to the background melody. Unfortunately, I can't even add my voice to it until my mic is fixed, so I have some time to make it sound good. :)

PS: That beat was actually made entirely by me completely from scratch, lol, that's why it's so sloppy. Best beat I've created though. :D

Awws,but your songs is always warmer then the Winter itself though :P
Thanks for sharing WIP version. It's a pity that you didn't had a good mike so I couldn't hear lyrics in crystal clear sound. Still I loved the epic,kind a Nightwish style :)

Thankies G. :) I am totally into gothic stuff....well, always have been. That was the second song I ever created on the keyboard. Very Evenescence-esque, from back when I was obsessed with her, lol. Nice to bring that old style to more modern stuff. :)

Awws,I guess you back again into kind a darkwave style. The Within Temptation is also neat group. I wouldn't mind more energizing stuff from you with epic drums and stringed instruments.
