This was a "fun" project that I decided to participate in. Basically, PWI (Perfect World International) gave us a video of their trailer for the Genesis Expansion and stripped away the music and left it up to the contestants to fill in the gap. I took 3 of my compositions and edited them into something that tells a unique story as you watch the video. I also added some additional sound effects to further enhance the impact of theatrical sound. :)
The official rules for the contest can be found at this link: http://www.perfectworld.com/blog/?p=179181
All entries must be uploaded by 5pm PST on Tuesday, January 25th 2011!! So if you want in, now is the time!

I can remember these pieces! You've blended them together so masterfully! It goes along perfectly with the trailer. :D Also, the SFX you've added also really makes this piece. Another professional quality job well done. :) I sure hope that you win. *goes to check out the other submissions*

I could not get the vid to start from here. Had to watch it on youtube, might be my connection here..
A bit slowish.
I will also have to look up what type game this is, looks really cool.
Now to you!
So you took 3 of your already made pieces and put them together.
That´s just awesome! I did not notice that.
Ofc i could hear there were different scenarios,
(all of them fitting very nicely together with the vid)
But i could not tell they were completely different pieces.
I was just thinking -this is one hell of a dynamic piece! lol
It´s when watching these types of vids/trailers that you understand how important the music really is.
The vid could be oooh so Epic, but without the right music to set you in the right mood, you might aswell just press the STOP button.
Awesome stuff!
Oh and Good luck in the competition =)
