Material Specialist - Color - Finishing - Material Engineering - Product Design - CFM Strategy

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor degree in Design, Applied Science, or Material Engineering
• 5+ years of color, material, finishing development work, product development, and trend research experience. Proven record of success.
• Ability to comprehend and summarize color and design trends for a variety of sources.
• Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes is a must
• Proficient with basic design software [Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. ]
• Graphic design or engineering experience is a plus

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement color, material and finishing solutions for multiple brands of major products
• Develop CFM strategy for brands and categories
• Present and communicate color direction and strategy to a wide audience;
• Collaborate with other design disciplines, product marketing, development, and vendors to ensure market success, to execute on overall project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Maintain and communicate brand cfm strategy documents visually enable the sharing of category color, graphics, materials strategies and applications
• Build and maintain relationships with business partners throughout the extent of the corporation
• Trend analysis and research of color/material/graphics for regional and global products.
• Project management and report
