We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Office Furniture Systems Designer with interior furniture systems design/drafting experience to join a leading Engineering & Design Firm located in the Alexandria, VA. area.

The successful candidate must possess have dealership experience, strong knowledge and experience in AutoCAD design and must have a Design Degree. Knowledge of furniture systems design is a must.

Primary Duties:

* Design block and space plans.
* Develop and present color/finish boards and selections.
* Develop finished working drawings for specification and installation.
* Validate plans against construction, electrical engineering and A&D drawing sets.
* Develop product specifications.

Needed experience:

* AutoCAD Design experience.
* Must have furniture systems design experience.
* Dealership experience with Haworth or Steelcase.
* Knowledge of CAP studio or other similar specification software.
* Four year Interior Design Degree.
* Have excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills.
