This is the result of a collaboration project that I started in May 2010 with Jessismith (a Newgrounds.com user). It has grown in size since its first inception. This is version 14.
"Beyond the Truth"
Concept:
The planet (as well as its surrounding space) is getting destroyed by its intelligent inhabitants (i.e., humans). Who else in the world is responsible for oil spills, toxins, radiation, pollution, war machines, space debris, over population, etc., etc..? The song attempts to inspire people in this technological era to think about a "greener" environment on earth much like the time when there was no need for oil drill mills, gas burning machines and the like. The earth was not overpopulated and there was not a need to mass produce food. The earth was fruitful and had enough green resources to last an eternity! What happened to all of that?
Plot:
The song is about a group of scientists that figured out how to produce a time warp chamber that transports them back into time. Dressed in Gypsy disguise outfits, they travel back to the Celtic Medieval era where they experience a very different world from their own technologically infested world. In their travels, they learn that the earth was once a very healthy place full of life where the air was amazingly breathable. As they progress in their journey, they discover the hidden truth--the truth that could have never occurred to anyone unless one could exist in two very distant and distinct eras at any given moment in one's life. This describes what is meant by "Beyond the Truth." At the end, they travel back to the era where they were originally from to teach and inspire the world to make a change that would save the world from total devastation and veer it back to the healthy world it once used to be.
Lyrics:
In the sands of time
The truth will be foretold
The truth that lives in all of us
Through the ambience of space and time
Through the dawn of evolution
It's a revelation of untold mysteries
It begins in the very depth of our souls
In the pure essence of eternal destiny
With existence and creation binded as one
Reach into the light of your heart
Feel the glow of fascination
And rise above and beyond the truth
We ask ourselves, "What will the future hold?"
Will our world be the same as it always was when we are old?
Seeking the answers from a long forgotten time
We finally make a breakthrough and soar into the sky
Setting sail to a time unknown
Our lives changed by the life we are shown
Disaster and chaos a thousand years away
Basking in the light of a perfect Summer's day
Endless storms and rising and tides
Raging wars and crimson skies
(Repeat 4 times)
Imagine the world without pain
Imagine the world without sadness
Imagine the world without fear
Without all the things you'd like to disappear
Imagine that every single day is not another battle
Imagine that no one dies because of his religion or the color of his skin
Imagine that we forgive what's unforgivable
And all the hatred that's inside of us will never be revealed
Can you imagine it?

Wow!
You made the pirate bay scene sound perfect! :D It fits into the song amazingly! As for this song, it has been such a wonderful experience working on it. All of the credit goes to you being such an amazing genius, and engineering the world's best song....literally. :) I won't say more about it, as you already know how amazing I think this song is. :)

Pure Genius in sound mixing this is top notch, one very amazing piece I ever heard. Keep it coming.
A very special thanks goes out to Steph (aka Jessismith)!! She was the one who made this piece possible! Her inspiration was what lifted this song up to its height! Also, many thanks to Corbet! He made the strings/omnisphere transition right before the "Entering Pirate's Bay" part. Oh yea, can't forget about my brother Neng, the great Flemenco Dancer! :) He made all the clapping and finger snapping sounds that is heard during the feet stomping dance part! This was the greatest collaboration I've ever done! Thanks!!

Awesome work!
Strength without determination means nothing, and determination without strength is equally useless.
