You Are The One ft. Dia Lee

This is a collaborative effort between Dia Lee and myself. In response to my original posting for a vocalist for this song, she sang and sent me her vocal track. Please forgive her for a "noisy background" in her recording. Thankfully, I was able to somewhat salvage it using sound editing software. :) But, despite the fact, it still sounds really good!! OK, so I sort of cheated by covering it (i.e., the noise) with a bit of echo and reverb but I was going to do that anyway since it's an orchestral piece where I wanted to make it sound like she was center stage with the symphony orchestra. :)
Dia, thanks for sending me your voice to work on. I hope it is what you'd hope it would be. Sorry it took a day to do it, but please let me know what you think about the overall result of the production.
Lastly, I also wanted to say that I am still open to any vocalist who would like to submit their vocal track for this song. If I get enough vocal tracks from different vocalists, I may turn it into a choir that's singing with the orchestra! THAT would be totally EPIC!! :D Anyway, this was truly a fun project to work on!

the orchestra is really great, cant find any points you could easily improve it on, a truly beautiful composition
though a choir would indeed really sound epic in this indeed

the only thing that could be better in my opinion is dia's singing, it is quite beautifully already, you have quite a beautifully voice but it feels like it could still grow into something more, but i believe that with a lot of practice that one day i cant say anything bad about it anymore
the part "baby i love you and cant live without you" might have sounded nicer with a slightly more whispering voice
and you can easily hear that english is or not your first language, it doesnt feel fully natural but a little bit forced because of that
and the thing you cant do much about except from spending money is maybe a better microphone i believe some beauty really got lost by the equipment which is a shame ofcourse...
you have a lot you can improve on, but for an amateur singer its already on a really nice level, in other words: your full of potential!!!
