Depending on what you're going to use the image for, there are a few ways to upload an image to your account. 

• To use the image in any of your write-up's (such as a blog entry), click on the "Files" link at the top of the site to upload it to your user folder.  Click on the Upload link and it will reveal a file field to browse for a file on your computer.  Select your file and click the Upload button.  Once it's there, you can access it anytime with the Image icon found on any text editor toolbar and clicking on "Browse Sever."
• If you want to insert an image while you are editing some text in a text area but  had not been previously uploaded yet, then you can just click the Image icon in the toolbar and it will pop up with a dialog box.  Click on the "Browse Server" button and it will show your user folder.  On this window, click on the Upload link and it will reveal a file field to browse for a file on your computer. Once Uploaded, it will show up in the text editor after you click OK.
• To showcase your image as a work of art (with higher resolution), click on Post Content and then Image.  You will be presented with a form that allows you to upload an image as well as specify a title and a description.
• To upload an image as your Profile picture, click on the Edit Profile link at the top of the site and click on the Upload Picture link. After having uploaded it, you will be presented with a crop tool to select the area of your image to use as a profile picture.

To change your Avatar, click on the Account Settings link at the top of the site and scroll down until you see the Avatar graphics.  To see more, simply click the page number you want to browse to.  Click to select the one you want and save your changes.  If you want to upload your own avatar image, click on the Upload Picture link found above the Avatar graphics and select an image from your computer to upload.  Once it is uploaded, you will be given a chance to crop the image to your liking. 

Before you are allowed to create a group, you must be at least a Level 2 user.  This basically means that you must acquire 100 points.  Once you reach this level, you will automatically be promoted to a Group Manager role.  With this role active, you may create a group by going to the "Control Panel" link and click on Group (it looks like a group of people with a round green plus sign on it).  You may create up to 2 groups.  Please choose wisely what kind of group(s) you create because it becomes permanent.  You can make your group Public or Private and also decide whether to list it in the Groups Directory.  Of course, you will be able to manage everything about your group including its content and homepage design.

Click the "Account Settings" link at the top of the site. Look for the 2 password fields. Type in your chosen password in the first field and again in the second field. Your password needs to be at least 6 characters long. It is recommended that you implement alpha and numeric characters in your password. When you are satisfied with your password, scroll down until you see the SAVE button and click it to update your account.

Click the "Account Settings" link at the top of the site. Look for the email field. Type in your valid email address. Be sure that you spell your email address exactly. All e-mails from the system will be sent to this address. The e-mail address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by e-mail. When you're done, scroll down until you see the SAVE button and click it to update your account.

In order to have your submission featured in the Showcase, it must be of at least amateur quality. Submissions are hand-picked by site moderators to appear in the showcase. Keep in mind that even if your submission does not make it to the showcase that it is still on your profile page under your listing of latest works. You can see it by viewing your profile.

Currently, only Artists are allowed to attach a file to a Group comment only. To do so, simply click the File Attachments link right above the SAVE button. Select your file using the browse button. Click Attach. When it is done uploading, you will see it listed. Your attached file can not exceed 25MB and MUST be one of the following file extensions: jpg jpeg gif png txt pdf doc xls ppt pps odt ods odp zip rar mp3 mid. Please note that any file you attach affects your file quota. Every member can upload up to 500MB worth of files. Once you have reached your quota, you will have to remove some of your previous attachments to free up more space for new attachments.
